You will support development of enterprise applications across various business units and has good exposure to Cloud based database engineering platforms.\nWhy this role is important to us\nThe team you will be joining is a part of Markets Risk Technology, a function that is vital to the company as the applications that we build is critical to support Front Office Risk to manage collateralization across multiple product lines in Global Markets.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nAs a Database Software Engineering Developer, you will:\nDesign/develop based on business requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, developers and testing team.\nUse advanced technical expertise in analyzing, designing, estimating, and developing software applications to project schedule.\nParticipate in technical design, application build, configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.\nDemonstrate strong experience in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, Redshift\nDeploy high performing, quality/bug-free code in production.\nExecute unit test of data populated in target data container, validating expected result and ensuring quality and accuracy.\nProvide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners.\nWhat we value\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role\nHands on database development experience with strong skills in designing, developing and deploying complex applications based databases.\nStrong development experience in SQL,PL/SQL programming and creating database objects, View, Materialized View, Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc.\nHands on expertise in Data Modeling and DB design with strong skills in performance tuning.\nHands on experience in setting up data pipelines for ETL jobs across multiple data sources.\nHands on experience in troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues.\nHands on working knowledge and experience around Oracle RDBMS, standard AWS services, such has EC2, S3, RDS, PostgreSQL, Redshift.\nHands on experience in building systems using modern, scalable, resilient, cloud native architectures.\nOptimizing database performance, scalability, ensuring data security and compliance; Able to predict database storage and growth.\nExperience with event based, micro-batch and batched high volume and high velocity transaction and data processing system.\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications\nBachelors degree required\nMinimum 10 years of experience in relevant Database development role\nIndustry experience preferably in Financial Services\nHands on working knowledge and experience around Oracle RDBMS, standard AWS services, such has EC2, S3, RDS, PostgreSQL, Redshift, GitHub or any code repository, Cloud Controller or any Release management Tool\nSQL,PL/SQL programming and creating database objects, View, Materialized View, Stored Procedures, Triggers,\nAdditional requirements\nKnowledge of Cloud Security in AWS, specifically IAM Roles & Polices, Security Groups and Encryption keys.\n\nKeeping up to date on the latest cloud database technologies\nWork Requirement\nHybrid work requirement: Weekly 4 days in Boston, MA office and 1 day remote\nShift timings: Monday - Friday , 9AM - 5PM EST\nSalary Range:\n$90,000 - $157,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
