The successful candidate will drive automation, improve software delivery processes, enhance operational resilience, and ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the platform.\nWorking closely with software engineers, architects, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders, the Senior DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in modernizing development and deployment practices, streamlining release management, and supporting mission-critical applications within a highly regulated financial services environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevOps Engineering & Automation\nDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade DevOps frameworks and best practices.\nBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, deployment, and release processes.\nPromote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation-first approaches across application and platform environments.\nAutomate operational processes, environment provisioning, and deployment activities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.\nContinuously improve software delivery lifecycle processes, deployment frequency, and release quality.\nSource Control & Release Management\nManage and administer source code repositories, branching strategies, and release processes.\nSupport application versioning, release governance, and deployment planning across multiple environments.\nImplement best practices for code promotion, artifact management, and release automation.\nCollaborate with development teams to ensure consistent development standards and deployment practices.\nEnvironment & Platform Management\nSupport multiple application environments including development, testing, UAT, and production.\nManage application hosting platforms and ensure platform stability, availability, and performance.\nMonitor platform health and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.\nSupport disaster recovery, resilience, and business continuity requirements.\nInfrastructure & Operations\nWork closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and compliant.\nManage Windows Server environments supporting business-critical applications.\nAdminister and support IIS-hosted applications and web services.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application performance issues across environments.\nSupport capacity planning, performance tuning, and operational readiness initiatives.\nSecurity & Compliance\nEmbed security controls and DevSecOps principles into the software delivery lifecycle.\nEnsure adherence to enterprise technology standards, risk controls, and operational procedures.\nSupport platform vulnerability remediation, patch management, and audit requirements.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to enhance security automation and monitoring capabilities.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nPartner with software engineering teams to improve development workflows and deployment automation.\nMentor and guide junior engineers on DevOps best practices and operational excellence.\nParticipate in architecture discussions and contribute to platform modernization initiatives.\nAct as a subject matter expert for DevOps tooling, automation, and operational support.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\nExperience\nSignificant experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role.\nProven experience designing and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience supporting complex, business-critical applications in production environments.\nStrong experience working within financial services, banking, capital markets, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.\nTechnical Skills\nEssential\nStrong experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment frameworks.\nExtensive knowledge of source control systems and repository management.\nStrong Windows Server administration experience.\nStrong Microsoft technology stack expertise.\nHands-on experience administering and supporting IIS (Internet Information Services).\nExperience with release management, deployment automation, and software delivery lifecycle management.\nStrong troubleshooting and operational support capabilities.\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.\nDesirable\nPython scripting and automation development.\nPowerShell scripting and Windows automation.\nInfrastructure as Code technologies.\nExperience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nCloud platform experience (Azure preferred).\nExperience with application monitoring and observability platforms.\nExperience implementing DevSecOps practices.\nFamiliarity with SonarQube, security scanning, and code quality tooling.\nExperience supporting .NET and Microsoft-based application stacks.\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder
