This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team and help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nAs Sr. Databricks Data Engineer you will\nDesign, build and test end to end data pipeline including data ingestion (streaming, events, and batch) on cloud-based infrastructure using Azure, Cosmos DB\nDevelop and implement ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation and loading data into data lakes\nWork extensively on Databricks and data warehousing concepts\nDesign & develop custom high throughput and configurable frameworks/libraries\nAbility to drive change through collaboration, influence and demonstration of POCs\nResponsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation\nWork collaboratively within an agile project team\nFollow best practices and coding standards\nGrow your personal skillset\nWhat we value\nThese skills will help you succeed in this role\nExperience in micro-services architecture and understanding of Cloud Computing is highly desirable (Azure preferred)\nProficient working knowledge on Data Warehousing platforms as Databricks, Delta lake and Apache spark\nHands on development experience in Databricks SQL and Scala\nStrong understanding of Databricks platform including clusters, jobs and other resources\nMonitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issue\nImplement Data quality checks and validations to ensure data accuracy\nExperience performing data analysis and data exploration\nStrong hands-on experience in troubleshooting Devops pipelines (ADO and Harness)\nExperience working in a multi-developer environment, using version control (i.e. Git)\nStrong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills\nExperience in handling semi-structured data (Avro, JSON and XML)\nBasic knowledge on shell scripting, UNIX, TOAD, SQL developer\n\nEducation & Preferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject\n10+ years of overall Bigdata data pipeline experience\n5+ years of Databricks hands on experience\n5+ years of experience on cloud-based development including Azure Services, Azure Devops, Kubernetes, Docker\nExperience on Snowflake is plus\nAdditional requirements\nCommunicate effectively in a professional manner both written and orally\nTeam player with a positive attitude enthusiasm initiative and self-motivation\nAbility to multi-task energetic fast learner & problem solver\nExperience of working in the financial industry\nExperience with agile development methodology\nWork Requirement\nOnsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote\n\nStandard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs(8am to 5pm)\n\nSalary Range:\n$120,000 - $202,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
