Achieving quality of service is a team effort and the Senior Tax Specialist needs to function at all times as a team player and ensure that other members of the team do so. We are looking for suitable candidates in Gdansk.\nWhat you will be responsible for\nAs part of the Custody Tax Services team, you will be responsible for activities in the areas of Tax Reclaims, Relief at Source, and Tax Payments, and for effectively resolving issues to minimize risk and exposure.\nAs an Associate 2 on the team you will:\nReview tax reclaims forms, and complete the reviewers’ checklist\n\nPerform tasks related to relief at source and tax payments.\n\nAssist and provide direction to staff in resolving discrepancies,\n\nAssist Team Supervisor of the team and ensure that departmental procedures and controls are adhered to,\n\nAssist Team Supervisor in implementing new procedures and controls,\n\nPerform special projects and other tasks as assigned by the Team Supervisor\n\nProvide timely and professional responses to all enquiries, resolve errors/ rejections,\n\nEnsure that daily workload is allocated appropriately,\n\nProvide guidance and training to less experienced staff .\n\nEducation and Experience\nAppropriate educational training in finance/taxes/accounting business or equivalent experience\n\n2 years of relevant experience\n\nKnowledge and understanding of tax reclaims market regulations (essential)\n\nPC literacy and competency in use of spreadsheets and word processing\n\nPower BI /VBA knowledge will be an asset\n\nImprovements implementation experience\n\nSkills/Knowledge\nNumeracy / literacy skills,\n\nThorough understanding of fund administration is required,\n\nProficiency in reconciliation and problem solving,\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication,\n\nAbility to work to tight deadlines,\n\nAbility to take ownership and initiatives,\n\nAccuracy, good quality of work and attention to details,\n\nExcellent English.\n\nPlease Note: This role requires a minimum of 3 days of working from office .\nMinimum Salary:\nzł68,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
