Our responsibilities span daily operations, service reliability, continuous improvement initiatives, and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure and applications.\nAs part of our ongoing commitment to operational excellence, we are expanding our 24/7 Operation Center team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the availability and performance of Statkraft’s global IT environment. Working in a rotating shift schedule, you will proactively monitor infrastructure and business-critical applications, respond to operational alerts, perform initial troubleshooting and service recovery actions, manage incident escalations, and coordinate with on-call specialists when required.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic operational environment and are passionate about ensuring high service availability, operational stability, and exceptional customer experience across a global organization.\nIn your role you will:\nContinuous monitoring of IT infrastructure, applications, and services. \nResponding to alerts, incidents, changes and service requests in accordance with established operational procedures. \nPerforming first and second line troubleshooting and service restoration activities. \nEscalating incidents and coordinating with technical teams and on-call support as needed. \nContributing to operational excellence through process improvements and knowledge sharing. \nSupporting the stability, security, and availability of Statkraft's global IT services. \nScope: \nThe Operation Center provides continuous coverage through a rotating three-shift schedule:\nMorning shift 07:00-15:00 \nAfternoon shift 15:00-23:00 \nNight shift 23:00-07:00 \nEach shift is staffed by one dedicated Engineer who is actively monitoring and supporting Statkraft’s global IT services throughout the duration of the shift.\n Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must have a valid background check conducted by Semac or an equivalent provider. \nMinimum 2 years of experience in Level 2 IT Support, Operations, or a similar technical support role. \nHands-on experience with the operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows clients and servers, network infrastructure components, printers, and video conferencing solutions. \nStrong customer and service orientation, with a professional approach to incident handling and stakeholder communication. \nGood understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and processes, preferably with knowledge of the ITIL framework. \nAbility to quickly acquire new technical knowledge and adapt to changing technologies and operational requirements. \nCapable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. \nSelf-motivated, structured, and resilient, with the ability to remain effective in high-pressure situations and during critical incidents. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nHigh sense of ownership and accountability. \nCalm and focused under pressure. \nPositive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset. \nReliable and dependable in a 24/7 operational environment. \nWe know that no candidate ticks every box.
