Statkraft is a global company in energy market operations and has around 6,200 employees in 20 countries.\nBecause in the fight against climate change, we do not see renewable energy as part of the solution - we believe it must be the solution.\nWe are currently looking to recruit a Finance Assistant on a six month internship to be based in our office in Cork, Ireland.\n As an Finance Assistant in the Business Control and Performance Management area your main duties will be:\nReport to and support the Senior Business Controller EFNI - Finance Ireland, with a primary focus on supporting the Irish project pipeline in construction and operations, comprising of onshore wind, solar and grid services projects. \nSupport the finance workstreams on M&A Processes: supporting due diligence review processes, supporting the preparation of decision gate papers for financial decision review, coordinating with a number of teams including legal, tax and compliance teams and assisting in finalising of transaction in terms of funding including follow up of post completion actions. \nSupporting the finance team on integration of new companies and assets.\nSupporting the cashflow management for operational and construction pipeline of projects in Ireland as required. \nSupporting the month end tasks for the projects including preparation of month end revenue and cost accruals. \nPreparation of monthly spend and activity reports to the various steerco committees and stakeholders for both operational and construction projects as required.\nSupporting the management of the Power BI dashboard for projects ensuring reconciliation to SAP and update variance analysis commentary. \nAssisting in the preparation of quarterly internal business review packs for Europe Region 1. \nClose collaboration with other business controllers within Europe Region 1 and other regions.\nAssisting on system controlling of SAP -management of project & non project specific cost codes, management of cost centres, implementation of settlements rules and decision gates on SAP.\nGeneral contribution to the finance team competence in Statkraft, including maintenance of high standards and improvement initiatives. \n Current Student of a Financial related college course\nTeam Player\nAbility to work within a team and as an individual\nExcellent communication skills in English\nStrong Interest in Renewable Energy\n Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries.
