The Technical department operates across the whole of the UK, is responsible for all UK High Voltage Assets, Grid Services Sites, providing assistance in all technical aspects of daily operations and projects\nWe are currently recruiting for a HV Field Service Engineer, with the role open to candidates based anywhere in the UK. This position requires regular travel to multiple operational sites across the country. When site attendance is not required, the successful candidate will work remotely from home or from one of Statkraft’s UK office locations\n Work on maintenance aspects of our electricity switchgear and plant up to and including 400kV (training and development will be on offer to get you Authorised up to 400kV)\nSAP training and development\nInvestigate alarms from the system and provide fault response\nSupport with the delivery of projects\nFollow up on execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks\nSupervise engineering work onsite\nAssess the technical requirements for ongoing projects\n HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent\nRelevant experience from within the energy sector\nDemonstrable experience of working on the electrical network, ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance\nPrevious SAP Authorisation would be advantageous.\nA good understanding of O&M works processes\nHave a high standard of HSE awareness\nKnowledgeable in: -Power generation\nHV networks\nElectrical Testing/Analysis\nCommissioning\n\nMS Office Applications\nThe position will require extensive travel within the UK and sometimes abroad.\nApplicants will need the right permit to work in the UK as well as a clean driving licence.\n A career with Statkraft is a career filled with purpose - meaning that every employee is not just making a living, they are making a real difference to the planet, our communities, and the future.
