That's why we need you to join us.\n The Global Software Development team is a specialist software development team in Statkraft that delivers leading software for all business areas in Statkraft, ranging from Energy management to robotic trading systems. Custom software development is essential for Statkraft to remain a market leader in renewable energy production and market access services.\nWhat to expect\nAs a Python Developer you will closely engage with the business by developing customized systems in our back-office processes, giving Statkraft a competitive edge in the power market. The following tasks are mainly part of your area of responsibility:\nDesign, develop, test and deploy solutions based on Python and AKS. \nSupport the team to build and extend its knowledge base. \nWork closely with the business to understand the business process and needs; refine and design the technical concept. \nDevelop high quality software in all its aspects. This includes design, developing code, debugging and unit testing. Technical specifications, design documents, functional designs and requirements are required. Knowledge of estimation processes is required. \nContribute to the further development of software development within Statkraft and our business in Spain \n Four or more years of experience in software development, with a passion for your craft\nExperience using AI assisted software development \nYou have used Python extensively throughout your working experience\nKnowledge of the Fast API framework, PostgreSQL, Oracle and knowledge of AKS are important to this role as well\nExperience with working with financial & time series data and systems supporting business or industrial processes \nProficiency in written and spoken English\n At Statkraft, you’ll shape a career that is truly forward-facing with many amazing opportunities and offerings to match.
