competitive tenders and cost planning for a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare detailed cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects.\nCarry out quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.\nAnalyse labour, material, plant, subcontractor, and overhead costs.\nPrepare comprehensive tender submissions and pricing schedules.\nObtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.\nIdentify commercial risks and opportunities within tender documents.\nCollaborate closely with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and operational teams.\nSupport value engineering exercises and cost-saving initiatives.\nMaintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.\nMonitor market trends, material prices, and industry developments.\nRequirements\nExcellent written and spoken English (essential).\nPrevious experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer, or similar role within the construction industry.\nStrong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and technical documentation.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.\nDesirable Skills & Experience\nPrevious professional experience in the United Kingdom.\nExperience working on UK construction or infrastructure projects.\nKnowledge of UK construction practices, contracts, and standards.\nExperience using estimating software such as Candy CCS, Bluebeam, Causeway, Conquest, or similar platforms.\nDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a
