The platform uses AI to automate and orchestrate large-scale creator programs, from sourcing and vetting influencers, to fulfillment, compliance, tracking and rights management. Brands including Express, Parlux, Kendo Brands, and LG H&H use Statusphere to drive social SEO, improve product discoverability and generate measurable sales impact online and in-store. For more information, visitwww.joinstatus.com.\nOur product is our business model. Every improvement in how we match creators to campaigns and deliver on time comes from the platform, not from manual effort. We bring the same approach to how we run the company: documented, repeatable, and automated wherever we can.\nWe are a distributed team of about 50 employees plus a network of contractors, and we expect to keep growing. As our first dedicated IT hire, you will build the foundation that keeps everyone equipped, secure, and productive as we scale.\nAbout the Role:\nAs our first dedicated IT hire, you'll be the go-to person for how our team gets equipped, stays secure, and gets unblocked. IT is currently run by our VP of Engineering in addition to their core responsibilities. You'll take ownership of it and turn ad-hoc work into documented, repeatable, automated systems, reporting initially to our VP of Engineering, and transitioning to our SVP of Engineering & Technology once that role is in place. You'll partner closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and Engineering, and you'll help shape how IT scales as we grow. You thrive in a startup environment, enjoy building process where none exists, and take pride in making technology just work for the people around you.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nIT & Technical Support: Provide day-to-day IT support across the organization, troubleshooting hardware, software, account, and connectivity issues directly, escalating to Engineering or leadership when needed, while building a simple ticketing and knowledge base process that keeps support scalable.\nIT strategy and roadmap: Assess our current IT and security posture, maintain a lightweight 6-12 month IT roadmap, and own tooling recommendations and the IT budget in partnership with Engineering leadership and the COO/CFO.\nDevice management (MDM): Own and configure our MDM platform (Iru, formerly Kandji), including enrollment, configuration profiles, patching, app deployment, and compliance policies. Confirm the size of our Windows footprint (including company-issued machines used by contractors) and, if warranted, define a lightweight baseline for those devices (approved software, encryption, patching). Recommend, with Engineering leadership, an approach for personal devices that access company data (for example, a BYOD policy and conditional access through Google Workspace and SSO rather than full MDM).\nIdentity and access management: Administer SSO and enforce MFA. Manage our password manager, 1Password, and run periodic access reviews so everyone has the access they need and nothing more. Production AWS and application-level access remain owned by Engineering; this role supports provisioning, where needed, and the review process.\nScaling through automation and policy: Find repetitive work and automate it where the time savings are clear using tools like n8n, Google Workspace admin tooling, and MDM workflows. Draft and maintain IT policies such as acceptable use, device standards, personal device use, and access management.\nSecurity awareness: Run phishing and security awareness training, using KnowBe4. Help employees understand and follow IT policies, including what software is and isn't permitted on company devices.\nIncident response: Act as first responder when an endpoint or user account is compromised, handling quarantine, initial investigation, and documentation, following the incident management framework owned by Engineering leadership.\nDocumentation and standard processes: Build and maintain runbooks, a knowledge base, and standard operating procedures so IT knowledge doesn't live in one person's head.\nOnboarding and offboarding: Run the full employee and contractor lifecycle for IT. That means provisioning laptops, accounts, and access on day one, and cleanly recovering devices and revoking access when people leave.\nRemote logistics: Coordinate shipping, setup, repairs, and equipment returns for a distributed team.\nAsset and license management: Maintain an accurate hardware inventory covering assignments, warranties, and refresh cycles. Track SaaS licenses and reclaim unused seats to keep costs in check. Report savings opportunities to the COO/CFO quarterly.\nData protection: Ensure device encryption (FileVault/BitLocker) is enforced, manage Google Workspace data retention, and own recovery procedures for lost or stolen devices.\nVendor management: Manage day-to-day relationships with IT vendors (MDM, endpoint protection, hardware suppliers) and evaluate new tools as needs evolve, with purchasing approval through Engineering leadership and the COO/CFO.\nEngineering enablement: Support engineers with laptop standards, tool access (for example GitHub and Workspace), and secure setup for US and international team members, in coordination with the VP of Engineering.\nCross-functional partnership: Work with HR on onboarding and offboarding timing and on the employee experience. Work with Finance and Operations on purchasing and budget. Keep IT controls (device management, access reviews, training, onboarding/offboarding) documented and evidence-ready to support future compliance efforts, including SOC 2. This role does not own the compliance program.\nOther duties as assigned \nWhat You Bring:\n3-5+ years in IT support or systems administration, ideally at a startup or SMB\nExperience as a sole or lead IT person, or building IT processes from the ground up\nHands-on experience with an MDM platform (Iru/Kandji, Jamf, Intune, or similar)\nStrong Google Workspace administration skills\nExperience with SSO, MFA, and identity management tools\nComfort supporting both macOS and Windows\nExperience writing and implementing IT policies (device, access, acceptable use)\nA documentation-first habit: you write things down so others can follow them\nScripting or automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or low-code tools like n8n or Zapier)\nClear, friendly communication with non-technical coworkers\nNice to Have:\nExperience with SaaS management platforms\nHands-on incident response or endpoint investigation experience\nExposure to a SOC 2 readiness effort (ISO 27001 or similar a plus)\nFamiliarity with AWS or cloud infrastructure basics\nEducation:\nAssociate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nWhat Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days:\nLearn our environment, tools, and current IT processes\nTake over day-to-day support and onboarding/offboarding\nDocument onboarding and offboarding end-to-end\nComplete a full hardware and SaaS inventory\nConfirm the Windows and personal device footprint and propose an approach\nPublish runbooks for our most common support issues\nIdentify and automate at least two repetitive IT processes\nDeliver an IT and security gap assessment with prioritized recommendations\nPresent a lightweight 6-12 month IT roadmap to Engineering leadership and the COO/CFO\nHours and Availability:\nWork Schedule: We offer flexibility in scheduling, with a preference for three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) or approximately 24-28 hours per week. We are open to discussing alternative schedules based on availability and business needs.\nMost support happens during standard business hours. Occasionally, evening or weekend support may be needed for urgent issues or planned maintenance, but this isn't a regular occurrence.\nTravel: Typically, less than 5%. Primarily remote environment with occasional travel to the company’s warehouse for on-site IT support. No special physical demands required.","description_format":"text","description_chars":8137,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"associate","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Influencer Marketing","Digital Marketing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-28T04:39:56Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 1","filings_12m":1,"filings_prev_12m":0,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":172500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-29T16:27:21+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":1}],"liveness":{"score":84,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.844,"p_room":1,"age_days":5,"expected_fill_days":38,"reasons":["conf:2","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-11-02T06:13:15Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/statusphere-it-administrator-part-time","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/statusphere-it-administrator-part-time.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-02T09:33:16Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":13400,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-03T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":1799055},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=1799055"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fstatusphere-it-administrator-part-time"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fstatusphere-it-administrator-part-time"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fstatusphere-it-administrator-part-time"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/statusphere-it-administrator-part-time\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fstatusphere-it-administrator-part-time"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3380199}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"joinstatus.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3380199},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
