This role serves as a technical expert and customer-facing representative, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of Stäubli robotic solutions.\nReports to:\nService Manager, North America\nResponsibilities and Objectives:\nDiagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and controls-related issues.\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.\nProvide onsite and remote technical support to customers.\nTrain customer maintenance and operations personnel.\nDocument service activities, root cause analyses, and recommendations.\nCollaborate with engineering, project management, spare parts, and sales teams.\nSupport emergency service calls and customer downtime situations.\nEnsure compliance with safety policies and customer site requirements.\nMaintain accurate service reports (CRM) and expense documentation.\nAdhere to all safety, quality and, environmental standards.\n Required Qualifications:\nAssociate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial automation, robotics, controls, or manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.\nStrong problem-solving and customer service skills.\nValid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.\nAbility to work independently in customer-facing environments.\nAbility to read, write, and communicate fluently in English\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with industrial robots and robotic automation systems.\nKnowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, servo systems, and motion control.\nExperience in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, or general industry environments.\nPrevious field service experience supporting capital equipment.\n Travel Requirements\nFrequent travel to customer locations throughout North America.\nFrequent overnight, weekend, and holiday travel may be required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work around industrial equipment.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.\nAbility to work in manufacturing and warehouse environments.\nWork Schedule:\nWillingness to travel as required both domestically and internationally (up to 75%).\nThis position will report to the Duncan, SC office with flexible (hybrid) schedule after 90-day training/onboarding period.\nStäubli
