Originally founded in 1892 as a small workshop in Horgen/Zurich, today Stäubli is an international group headquartered in Pfäffikon, Switzerland\n The General Facility Supervisor is responsible to manage the factory buildings, utilities and facility services and supporting infrastructure in Staubli’s Vietnam site. The position ensures that production and business operations receive dependable infrastructure support while meeting applicable Vietnamese legal, environmental, fire-safety and occupational health and safety requirements, together with company standards.\nMOBILITY: 5%-10% of time\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nFacilities and Maintenance\nPlan preventive maintenance and repairs for buildings, utilities and facility equipment. \nManage electrical systems, HVAC, ventilation, compressed air, water, drainage, fire systems, basic IT hardware, security, and access control. \nCheck equipment condition and fix problems quickly. \nPlan facility upgrades, major repairs and equipment replacement. \nCoordinate maintenance shutdowns and emergency repairs with other teams.\nFactory Set-up and Projects\nSupport factory fit-out, installation, testing, commissioning and handover. \nReview drawings and technical documents for safety, capacity and easy maintenance. \nFollow up defects and make sure contractors complete all work and documents. \nSupport utility connections for production equipment. \nCoordinate with the landlord, industrial park, consultants and contractors. \nSafety and Legal Compliance\nFollow Vietnamese rules for safety, environment, fire protection, electricity and construction. \nKeep permits, certificates, inspection reports and other required records up to date. \nIdentify risks and put suitable controls in place. \nUse work permits, risk assessments, contractor controls and lockout/tagout when required. \nSupport emergency drills, environmental monitoring and incident investigation. \nBudget and Energy\nPrepare and control the facilities operating and investment budget. \nCheck work quality and cost before recommending supplier payment. \nMonitor electricity, water, compressed air and other utility use. \nFind practical ways to reduce energy use and operating cost. \nDocuments and Suppliers\nKeep asset lists, maintenance records, drawings, manuals, warranties and spare-parts records. \nPrepare simple procedures, checklists and work instructions. \nDefine work scope and support supplier selection. \nControl contractor access, safety, work quality and final acceptance. \nMonitor supplier performance and follow up corrective actions. \nTeam and Business Support \nPlan daily work for facilities staff and contractors / service providers. \nTrain and coach service providers / contractors and ensure that they are competent for their work. \nSupport audits and close facilities-related findings. \nPrepare backup plans for critical utility failures. \nReport serious failures, safety issues and compliance risks to management. \n Degree or technical diploma in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, automation, facilities engineering or a related field. \nAt least five(5) years of facilities or utilities experience in a factory. \nGood practical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, water, fire protection and building services. \nExperience in factory fit-out, commissioning or expansion is preferred. \nAble to read technical drawings and solve facility problems. \nBasic knowledge of Vietnamese safety, environmental, electrical, construction and fire-safety requirements. \nGood skills in CAD and Microsoft 365.
