We are a highly skilled and dedicated team with a great benefits package and atmosphere.\n Essential Job Duties:\nParticipate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns and customer complaints.\nCreate 8D reports for internal corrective actions with objective evidence and implement preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence.\nDesign and document methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection (Control Plans / New Production Inspection Records).\nInterface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to production of new products is in accordance with approved data. This includes measurement data analysis and process capability analysis in support of qualifying new tools and projects.\nDevelop and maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with established quality processes and customer requirements.\nDevelop inspection plans for engineering change orders.\nProvide technical support related to GD&T, engineering drawings, inspection planning, and dimensional issue resolution.\nDemonstrate strong working knowledge of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), including preparation, review, and execution of PPAP submissions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements, AIAG standards, and successful validation of manufacturing processes and product quality.\nConduct internal and external audits to monitor adherence to policies and procedures.\nApply and maintain working knowledge of AS9100 quality management system requirements and AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements to support product qualification, process validation, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport other QA personnel to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.\nCreate and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality procedures, process flows, and work instructions, as appropriate.\nParticipate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc.\nMonitor suppliers’ performance and conduct supplier audits.\nDevelop training to build quality awareness, as required.\nAssist in First Article reports and Tool validation for new product development.\nAbility to travel on an as needed basis\n To perform this role successfully, an individual must:\nMaintain a high standard of quality through all aspects of the job.\nBe a team player willing to assist where needed and be a self-starter.\nHave good communications skills to work effectively with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel as well as with outside suppliers, partners, and customers.\nBe familiar with problem solving methodologies, analysis, and tools such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA).\nExperience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems and AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements, including preparation, review, and maintenance of quality and compliance documentation.\nWorking knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5), engineering drawings, and metrology principles.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\nThorough knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing quality tools.\nTraining in AIAG concepts preferred, Quality certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ, are a plus.\n3+ years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n2+ years direct Engineering drawing, GD&T and metrology experience.\nAdvanced computer skills, including the use of statistical process control (SPC) software.\nThorough knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes, including injection molding, machining, and automated assembly and production equipment.\nThorough knowledge of electronic test equipment.\nAbility to prepare complex written reports and other documents.\nAbility to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions.\nSAP experience is a plus.\n Additional Qualifications:\nLift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods of time\nMust be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects\nPeriods sitting at a desk and working on a computer\nDexterity and accuracy as needed to operate equipment\nStäubli
