Stäubli guarantees high quality, reliability and performance: a solid foundation for a trusted partnership with our customers worldwide.\n We are looking for an Applications Engineer to join our team supporting the UK, Ireland & North East Europe Region for our Robotics Division, this role will work on a hybrid base between your home base and our Telford Office, but will be expected to provide coverage to the whole of the UK & Ireland and as well as the North East Europe region when required. The main responsibilities for this role will involve:\nProviding help and assistance to our Customers in the use, programming and integration of our robots both remotely and on-site.\nSupporting our Customers and Sales Team on all technical aspects of product range either remotely or on-site.\nProposing and/or validating automation concepts and solutions adapted to our robot using different technologies such as tooling, vision, conveyor tracking and safety as examples.\nAssessing feasibility of robotic proposals using simulation software including but not limited to cycle time analysis and payload verification.\nTesting ‘Proof of Principles’ by using the suite of demonstration robots.\nPromoting the full range of robots and available software applications.\nBecoming a technical lead in the specification and utilization of the robotics division product range\nSupporting Exhibitions as a specialist.\nUpskilling other divisional members as required\nSupporting the Training Manager in delivery of customer training as required\n It is essential that candidates have a:\nBTEC Higher Level/Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar is desirable but proven experience will also be considered\nHigh-level programming knowledge and experience, preferably with robots.\nPrevious experience of working with:3D CAD Packages\n4- & 6-axis automation\nElectrical installations\nPLC’s and fieldbus technologies\n\nAbility to analyse both Company and Customer drawings.\nKnowledge of mechanical engineering principles.\nStrong time management skills including being able to work independently and to deadlines.\nStrong communication skills including the ability to communicate at all levels.\nA full UK driving licence.\nWe would also look for Candidates to have
