In this role, you will be responsible for producing defect-free parts on time and at the lowest possible cost, while minimizing environmental impact through waste reduction and exposure prevention. We are looking for a results-driven individual who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Range: $24 - $35per hour (Starting rate commensurate with experience)
- Shift: Weekend Shift
- Weekend Shift - Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm - Employees work three 12-hour shifts (36 hours) and are compensated for a full 40-hour workweek- 20% Shift Differential
- $3,000 sign-on bonus for Weekend Machine Operators
- Understand and execute to a set of specified instructions (sequenced based control, work instructions, drawings, etc.)
- Execute proper start-up and shutdown of machine.
- Set-up, load and operate brake or punch press to planned arrangements.
- Evaluate, correct, and take actions necessary to prevent external quality (size & defects) issues.
- Select (grinders, abrasives, etc.) and utilize a variety of metal finishing tools to meet specified surface requirements.
- Utilize a variety of material lifting devices (cranes, positioners, magnets, hooks, etc.)
- Utilize a variety of material control devices (fixtures, templates, etc.)
- Always Work responsibly and safely.
- Perform additional activities of execution as required.
- Participate in the plan to organize, control and maintain the work environment.
- Read and write in English for Operational Functions and Preventative Maintenance.
- Entry Level Welcome: No prior experience is required-we will provide training!
