Direct, related experience in insurance product development is required.\nSteadily is hiring an Insurance Product Manager to own and drive the growth and profitability of our landlord dwelling products. You’ll oversee product design, pricing, and filings across multiple states, while serving as the subject matter expert on all things landlord insurance.\nThis is a full-time position, either in-office or fully remote. A generous relocation package is available for out-of-state candidates.\nWhat You'll Do\nYou’ll have ultimate responsibility for the growth and profitability of our Landlord Dwelling products in several states.\n\nIdentify, design, create, and implement new opportunities and initiatives\n\nEnhance the coverage and form language of our existing products. Draft new endorsements.\n\nAnalyze the drivers of profitability including loss ratios, actuarial indications, frequency/severity trends, retention and other data for all products, books and channels.\n\nManage rate filings in the states to ensure we are priced to achieve the required return across all products and segments.\n\nBe the subject matter expert on all things landlord insurance including forms, endorsements, underwriting guidelines, rates, etc.\n\nWork closely with the engineering team on programming specs.\n\nAssist with the creation of novel underwriting factors by working with both internal and external parties\n\nDevelop and implement robust data-driven action plans to continually improve performance.\n\nCoordinate and collaborate with various internal teams while helping to lead the insurance product function at Steadily.\n\nCompetitive analysis / SERFF ninja\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nExperienced: You’ve been a high achiever in insurance for over five years. You have experience managing personal lines products. Bonus points for direct experience in HO or DP products. You have created or edited policy form language.\n\nBuilder: You have a builder’s mindset and can take projects and products from inception to launch and beyond. You have a bias towards action.\n\nSkilled: Your technical and analytical skills are top notch. You know how to communicate with teammates, stakeholders, leadership, and regulators. Your written and oral communication skills are well above average.
