You’ll help define the structure and behavior of our TV operating system, where AI is woven throughout the experience, taking ideas from early concepts and user flows through prototypes, polished interfaces, and implementation.\nYou should be as comfortable thinking about the big picture as you are getting deep into the details. One day, you might define how a new product experience should work; the next, you might prototype an interaction, refine elements of our design system, or test a concept with users.\nYou’ll report to our Head of Design and collaborate closely with the founder, engineers, and marketing team. Beyond making excellent work, you’ll help define what great design looks like and contribute to a culture where design is central to how we build.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn product design from early exploration and user flows through interaction design, prototyping, final UI, and implementation support\n\nHelp define the right problems to solve, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints\n\nShape core experiences across our TV operating system\n\nDesign for the realities of TV, with clear hierarchy, readable interfaces, and thoughtful voice first remote navigation and focus states\n\nBuild interactive prototypes to explore product behavior, communicate ideas, and test assumptions before development\n\nUse research, usability testing, product data, and feedback to inform decisions and improve experiences\n\nEvolve our design system, creating reusable components and patterns that help the team move quickly without lowering the bar\n\nPartner closely with engineers throughout development, working through edge cases and ensuring the shipped experience reflects the design intent\n\nHelp shape our emerging design culture, standards, and creative point of view\n\nYou\n5+ years of experience\n\nHave a portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, visual craft, and thoughtful interaction design\n\nHave experience designing and shipping products, at a startup, agency, or similarly fast-moving environment\n\nCan turn complex or loosely defined problems into clear, intuitive experiences\n\nHave a strong command of typography, composition, color, layout, and visual hierarchy\n\nThink beyond individual screens to consider complete journeys, interaction patterns, accessibility, and edge cases\n\nAre proficient in Figma and comfortable working with tokens, components, design systems\n\nHave strong instincts but welcome feedback, evidence, and better ideas\n\nAre autonomous and comfortable making progress when the path is not fully defined\n\nNice to Have\nExperience designing for TV, streaming, connected devices, or remote-based interfaces\n\nExperience designing conversational, voice-driven, or AI-powered product experiences\n\nStrong motion design skills and an understanding of how animation can clarify product behavior and create delight\n\nExperience building a product or design system from an early stage\n\nFamiliarity with front-end development or code-based prototyping\n\nAn interest in exploring new creative tools and workflows, including AI, while maintaining a high standard of original
