We are looking for candidates with experience in quality assurance and test automation practices in an Agile/DevSecOps work environment.\nContributions\nUnderstand stakeholder requirements and collaborate with developers to support quality objectives\nMeet with product and development teams to determine testing parameters and acceptance criteria\nWrite test plans, test cases, test procedures, bug reports, and QA reports\nExecute manual and automated test cases for web applications and platforms\nSupport the development and maintenance of automated test scripts for Drupal-based web applications and content management platforms\nPerform functional, regression, integration, accessibility, and user acceptance testing\nValidate Drupal workflows, content publishing processes, user roles and permissions, and system integrations\nTroubleshoot defects and assist in identifying root causes\nWork with established automated testing tools and infrastructure to improve test coverage and efficiency\nSupport development, testing, deployment, and release activities within a DevSecOps environment\nWork with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and quality standards\nAssist with documenting current-state environments, gap analyses, and recommendations\nLeverage virtualization and containerization technologies to support testing activities\nParticipate in continuous improvement efforts related to DevSecOps processes and tools\nDocument test results, defects, and recommendations to support quality improvement efforts\nProvide status updates on assigned tasks and activities\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve defects and improve application quality\nQualifications\nAbility to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance\nBachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience \nExperience with testing tools such as Behat, PHPUnit, Selenium, JMeter, Playrwright, or similar technologies\nExperience executing manual and automated test cases for web-based applications\nUnderstanding of functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing methodologies\nExperience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects\nUnderstanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser developer tools\nGeneral understanding / familiarity of Drupal core components and typical Drupal development practices\nExperience testing web applications built on Drupal or other Content Management Systems (CMS)\nPreferred:\nFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Travis CI\nExperience testing Drupal 11 platforms\nExperience testing integrations between Drupal and external systems, APIs, identity management solutions, or third-party services\nFamiliarity with accessibility testing and Section 508 / WCAG compliance requirements\nFamiliarity with U.S. Web Design System (USWDS)\nUnderstanding of Agile development practices and participation in Scrum ceremonies\nExcellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills\nAbout steampunk\nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,000 to $100,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
