We are looking for candidates with 3-5 years experience with experience with quality assurance and test automation practices in an Agile/DevSecOps work environment.\nContributions\nUnderstand the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers \nMeet with product design team to determine testing parameters\nWrite test plans, create test cases, test procedures, bug reports, final QA reports for products\nManage test data architecture definition and requests\nTroubleshoot errors and streamline the test procedures\nTest and examine code written by others and analyze results, including three or more of the following:Data validation testing\nFunctional testing\nPerformance and load testing\nUsability testing\nAccessibility (508) testing\n\nEstablish automated testing tools and infrastructure for test automation\nProvide validation testing of different system and data sets for cloud migrations\nDevelop automated testing scripts considering parallelization and idempotency\nAutomate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes \nEnsure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats\nWork with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended\nDocument as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations \nLeverage virtualization and containerization to optimize testing software systems\nWork with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools.\nEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided\nPresent regular status updates and provide cross training to other DevOps team members\nAct as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members\nQualifications\nAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance\nBS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience\n3 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket\n3 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages\n3 Years of application DevSecOps Experience in an Agile environment\nExperience utilizing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes\n3 Years of Experience implementing test automation, using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Soap UI, RestAssured, Postman\nExperience integrating test automation including performance, security, and functional tests into CI/CD Pipelines\nExperience with performance and load testing\nExperience in one or more cloud computing environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nPreferred:\nCertifications:CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing)\nInternational Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills\nExperience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations\nAbout steampunk\nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
