We are looking for candidates with experience with quality assurance and test automation practices in an Agile/DevSecOps work environment, with the ability to support manual testing as needed.\nContributions\nUnderstand the needs of stakeholders and convey requirements to developers\nMeet with product design teams to determine testing parameters\nWrite test plans, create test cases, test procedures, bug reports, and final QA reports for products\nTake ownership of an automation framework around several Salesforce applications in a shared Org\nCreate and manage automated test cases within Salesforce utilizing Selenium\nManage test data architecture definition and requests\nTroubleshoot errors and streamline test procedures\nTest and examine code written by others and analyze results, including:\nData validation testing\nFunctional testing\nPerformance and load testing\nUsability testing\nAccessibility (508) testing\nEstablish automated testing tools and infrastructure for test automation\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber JVM, TestNG, and Selenium\nDevelop and execute API tests using TestNG and related tooling\nPerform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter\nProvide manual testing support for functional validation, exploratory testing, and edge case scenarios, as needed\nProvide validation testing of different systems and data sets\nDevelop automated testing scripts considering parallelization and idempotency\nAutomate and improve development, testing, and release processes\nEnsure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats\nWork with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended\nExperience debugging test failures and identifying root cause\nWork with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and tools\nUtilize tools such as Jira or Rally for story tracking\nWork within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness and GitLab\nDevelop and maintain test code using Java and modern IDEs such as VS Code\nEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement\nPresent regular status updates and provide cross-training to other team members\nAct as an individual contributor and mentor junior team members\nQualifications\nAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance\nBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience; ORMaster's degree and 3+ years of experience; OR\nAssociate's degree and 7+ years of experience; OR\nNo degree and 9+ years of experience\n\n3+ years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket\n3+ years of experience implementing test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, specifically usage within a traditional Salesforce application\n3+ years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages\nExperience developing and maintaining automated test scripts in Java\nExperience with API testing using frameworks such as RestAssured\nAbility to perform both automated and manual testing across the software development lifecycle\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong interpersonal and collaborative skills\nPreferred:\nExperience with performance and load testing (e.g., JMeter)\nExperience with testing Salesforce utilizing Selenium\nExperience with accessibility (Section 508) testing tools such as ANDI or Axe\nExperience working with Jira or Rally for test and requirements management\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as Harness\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments\nAbout steampunk\nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
