We are looking for candidates with experience building APIs and microservices with cloud platform services, understanding business requirements and implementing complex integrations for data and services. You will act as both technical visionary and be responsible for hands-on delivery.\nContributions\nUnderstanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers \nTesting and examining code written by others and analyzing results \nEnsure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats \nIdentify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’ \nDevelop APIs, micro-services and integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional. \nDesign reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects. \nAdvise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform. \nWork with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations \nCreate and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals \nDocument as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations \nAct as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members \nEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided \nPresent regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members. \nQualifications\nAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance \nBS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience \n8 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP) \n8 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket \n8 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages \n8 Years if Experience with one or more integrations technologies - specifically, with Java integrations libraries such as Apache Camel, Spring Boot, and JDBC \nExperience developing API Management solutions and micro-services \nPreferred:\nMS Degree in an IT-related field \nCertifications: \nAWS Solution Architect Professional \nAzure Developer Associate \n5 Years of application development experience in an Agile environment \nExperience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes \nExperience designing, implementing, and documenting APIs \nExperience utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI \nExperience implementing Automated Testing frameworks to test APIs and integrations \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills \nAbout steampunk\nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
