You'll be a client liaison, team coach, and mentor - leading day-to-day project tasking and delivery in a government consulting environment.\nContributions\nTrack deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and risks for assigned technical workstreams against program-wide SLA standards\nApply financial management, acquisition support, and performance measurement practices within the assigned workstreams\nPartner with technical subject matter experts and architecture leadership to keep delivery on track\nReport workstream status into the integrated schedule and leadership reviews\nMaintain results-oriented working relationships with client stakeholders on the assigned workstreams\nManage assigned workstream team members, facilitate technical discussions to troubleshoot delivery issues, and monitor team performance\nAssess the current delivery environment and recommend Agile practices tailored to the workstream\nParticipate in and support Agile ceremonies for the assigned workstream, removing blockers to keep delivery on track\nEvaluate workstream feasibility, eliminate non-productive tasking, and find ways to accelerate delivery where possible\nOffer guidance and recommendations to client stakeholders in challenging situations\nSupport staff training and development needs to build skills and career growth within the assigned team\nQualifications\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance\nBachelor's degree\n5+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years managing projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)\nPMP or equivalent certification\nWorking proficiency in scheduling, performance measurement, and executive reporting\nAbility to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence\nDemonstrated interpersonal skill coordinating across technical, mission, and stakeholder groups, with flexibility to work across teams, individuals, and executives\nExperience working in a complex technical/engineering delivery environment\nLocal to the DC Metro Area \nPreferred:\nExperience supporting data, AI governance, or cybersecurity/identity-related delivery\nPrior federal contract experience\nCertified Scrum Master\nAbout steampunk\nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000 to $175,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
