We are looking for candidates with at least 8 years of full stack development experience, including experience developing and maintaining Drupal-based web applications, using Agile and DevSecOps methods such as build/release management, CI/CD practices, and test automation.\nContributions\nDesign, develop, and deploy modular micro-services and cloud-based systems, including Drupal-based webapplications\nUnderstanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to other developers \nWrite and debug code for innovative software solutions, including custom Drupal modules and themes\nTroubleshoot software quality, security and reliability issues\nParticipate in code reviews and quality assurance activities\nAutomate unit and functional tests\nTest and examine code written by others and analyzing results\nEvaluate, identify and develop complex software solutions using APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions\nEnsure that software is secure against cyber threats, including adherence to Drupal and web applicationsecurity best practices\nIdentifying technical problems, performing root cause analysis, and developing software updates and ‘fixes’ \nSupport production releases (including deployment, troubleshooting, and testing)\nDocument software code, features, and training guides\nDocument as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations \nLeverage virtualization and containerization to optimize and modernize software systems\nAct as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members \nEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided \nQualifications\nRequired:\nAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance\nBS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience \n8 Years of experience with one or more programming languages (Java, Ruby, react, C++, C) \n8 Years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket \n8 Years of experience with one or more programming or scripting languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript) \nAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance \n5 Years of experience with one or more clouds (I.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP) \n5 Years of experience using CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI \n3+ years of hands-on Drupal experience to include developing custom Drupal modules, themes, and siteconfigurations (Drupal 8/9/10)\nExperience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes \nExperience implementing Automated Testing frameworks including unit testing \nPreferred:\nExperience integrating Drupal with APIs and backend servicesFamiliarity with Drupal security and accessibility best practices (e.g., Section 508)\nCertifications:AWS Cloud Practitioner \nAWS Solution Architect Professional \nAzure Developer Associate \n\n5 years of application development experience in an Agile environment \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills \nAbout steampunk\nSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,000 to $225,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
