Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation and/or Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAt least 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience required, preferably in a manufacturing setting\nUnderstanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems\nExperience with building maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping)\nExperience providing routine preventative maintenance\nExperience providing manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and repair\nPrevious experience in a steel or metal shop recommended\nOther skills\nStrong electrical and mechanical aptitude\nKnowledge of lathes, mills, lasers, brake presses, shears, robotics and other manufacturing equipment highly preferred. Steel or metal shop experience a plus\nFamiliarity with typical maintenance tools and equipment\nAbility to identify potential issues or hazards\nStrong problem-solving skills\nAttention to detail. Desire to provide quality work\nTime management skills/ ability to prioritize\nLanguage Skills\nExample: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
