If you're looking for an opportunity to contribute, learn, and grow with a company committed to operational excellence, we'd love to hear from you.\nManufacturing Engineer\nPosition Summary\nReporting to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency across Steele Solutions' manufacturing facilities. This role identifies, evaluates, and implements solutions related to manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, facility layout, ergonomics, and workplace safety.\nThe Manufacturing Engineer serves as a key partner to operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams, helping optimize manufacturing performance while supporting a culture of safety, innovation, and operational excellence.\nEssential Responsibilities\nManufacturing & Process Improvement\nAnalyze production methods, workflow, facility layouts, and operational data to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.\nConduct cost analyses and feasibility studies to support manufacturing improvements and capital investments.\nRecommend and implement process improvements that enhance worker efficiency, product quality, workplace safety, and material utilization.\nLead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, methods, and production controls.\nDesign, develop, and improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment.\nEvaluate production equipment and tooling, recommending repairs, upgrades, replacements, or process enhancements.\nAssist with the installation, startup, and validation of new manufacturing equipment.\nDevelop and maintain work instructions, operating procedures, and equipment documentation.\nParticipate in new product introductions and support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives.\nResearch emerging manufacturing technologies and recommend solutions that improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance.\nSafety Leadership\nLead and administer the company's Safety Program while supporting and promoting a strong 6S culture.\nChair the Safety Committee and oversee First Responder activities.\nInvestigate safety concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nMaintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements.\nPartner with plant leadership to promote consistent safety practices across all facilities.\nMonitor safety performance, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nCommunicate and reinforce safety expectations throughout the organization.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nWork closely with production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities.\nPresent recommendations, project updates, and improvement plans to management.\nTrain employees on new equipment, processes, and best practices.\nMaintain project documentation, engineering records, and improvement reports.\nSupport strategic initiatives focused on operational excellence, safety, and company growth.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
