This role provides direct leadership to production employees while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives are achieved.\nThe Production Supervisor serves as a key leader within the operation, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and operational excellence. This position collaborates closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Maintenance, and Project Management teams to support production goals and customer commitments.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nLead, coach, and develop production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPromote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.\nDrive accountability for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and workplace standards.\nAssign work effectively and monitor employee performance to ensure production schedules and operational objectives are met.\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality, and support operational excellence.\nIdentify and resolve production issues while minimizing downtime and maintaining workflow.\nEnsure equipment is operated safely and efficiently within assigned production areas.\nCoordinate staffing needs, employee schedules, and daily production requirements.\nManage employee attendance, call-ins, and related documentation in accordance with company policies.\nLead employee training and development initiatives to build workforce capability and engagement.\nParticipate in workforce planning and provide recommendations regarding personnel, equipment, and space requirements.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure successful execution of production objectives.\nCommunicate production status, performance metrics, challenges, and improvement opportunities to leadership.\nFoster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nAssociate's Degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum 3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.\n2-5 years of supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience.\nExperience leading production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong leadership and employee development skills.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.\nExperience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nEffective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and production-related computer systems.\nAbility to interpret production schedules, reports, and operational data.\nBasic math and measurement skills.\nForklift experience preferred.\nOverhead crane experience preferred.\nBilingual English/Spanish is a plus.\nCollaboration\nThis position works closely with:\nPlant Manager\nProduction Teams\nEngineering\nQuality Assurance\nProject Management\nProcurement\nMaintenance\nHuman Resources\nSafety Team\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position is responsible for supervising production employees and carrying out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
