quotation.\nLocation: Tiffin, Ohio\nSchedule: Office, Generally 4 9’s and a 4 on Friday\nTravel: Limited, occasional customer site visits as needed\nWhat You'll Do\nReview customer specifications, blueprints, drawings, and project requirements.\nDevelop accurate cost estimates and quotations for steel platforms, gravity chutes, lockers, and other custom solutions.\nDetermine material, labor, and manufacturing requirements for proposed projects.\nGenerate bills of materials and identify cost drivers that impact project pricing.\nCollaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nCreate customized solutions using standard SSI products and components.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.\nAssist with product improvements and enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs.\nOccasional travel to customer locations may be required.\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.\nAbility to read CAD software 2D and 3D models.\nStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in estimating, manufacturing, engineering support, applications engineering, technical sales, or project engineering.\nExperience working in steel fabrication, metals manufacturing, structural steel, material handling, or industrial equipment environments.\nExperience developing bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing estimates.\nFamiliarity with distributor networks and B2B customer relationships.\nKnowledge of material handling equipment and custom fabricated products.\nTechnical Skills\nPreferred experience with one or more of the following:\nAutoCAD\n3D Modeling Software\nBOM Creation\nCost Estimating\nManufacturing Processes\nEngineering Documentation\nWhy Join Steele
