Manages customer projects through various departments and provides on-going communication and support with internal and external clients to meet the objectives of the organization. Actively and positively support the overall culture of the organization.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nReview all contract documents for determination of the scope material, including coordination with the sales department on turn over process.\nCoordinate the incorporation of shop and erection drawings.\nProcess RFIs, including writing, reviewing, modifying, confirming legitimacy, and communicating with customers.\nResponsible for reviewing shop and erection drawings prior to distribution and constantly communicating the importance of maintaining the schedule.\nResponsible for coordinating with production control for drawing log/load list.\nCreate and maintain the load list for every project assigned and work with detailers of any shop questions and/or missing fabrication files.\nEvaluate field problems and furnish field work drawing as needed.\nConsistent communication with the Project Manager on assigned job and alert Project Manager of any additional materials needed.\nVisit job as necessary and ensure that company interest and project expectations are being met.\nManage your time effectively as required to meet project demands.\nOther duties as assigned by manager\n REQUIREMENTS:\nPrefer Bachelor/undergraduate degree (B.A/B.S.) or equivalent from four college or accredited institution; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nKnowledge of AISC, AWS, ASTM, and OSHA requirements preferred.\nAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.\nEffective communication and strong customer orientation.\nEffective problem solving and decision-making skills.\nMust have strong organizational skills and ability to write routine reports and correspondence.\n PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nRegularly required to sit, occasionally stands and walks, use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to talk or hear. Seldom lifts and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nGeneral office and constant exposure to computer display. Occasional interaction with production employees in the fabrication facility.\nSAFETY:\nIn the office setting this is generally not a safety-sensitive position. However, you may be required to be on-site at a job site, in this case, you are required to follow all safety rules established by the contractor. A safety-sensitive position has been defined as one where the employee’s responsibilities impact the health and safety of themselves, coworkers and / or the public (in this case the end-user of our product). Most production and production support positions fall into this category.
