Actively and positively support the overall culture of the organization.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nCreate and manage a coordinated project schedule from project outset to completion.\nPrepare and issue project specific contracts and purchase orders.\nDetailed knowledge of project requirements, including contracts: scope of work, drawings, specifications, schedule, budget and including the technical and administrative specifics.\nResponsible for documenting all project events as necessary to establish a record specific to the projects.\nIssue change order requests (typically provided by Change Order Estimator), follow up for timely receipt of customer change orders. Manage all change related issues on project.\nVisit job as necessary and ensure that company interest and project expectations are being met.\nManage/monitor communication and coordination of project budgets with various internal and external departments.\nManage your time effectively as required to meet project demands.\nOther duties as assigned by manager.\n Prefer Bachelor/undergraduate degree (B.A/B.S.) or equivalent from four college or accredited institution; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nKnowledge of AISC, AWS, ASTM, and OSHA requirements.\nAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.\nEffective communication and strong customer orientation.\nEffective problem solving and decision-making skills.\nStrong negotiation skills.\nMust have strong organizational skills and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.\n PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nRegularly required to sit, occasionally stands and walks, use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to talk or hear. Seldom lifts and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nGeneral Office and shop, with constant exposure to computer display screen\nConstruction jobsite / Hard Hat area\nTravel as necessary for training and jobsite visits required\nSAFETY:\nThis is not a safety-sensitive position.
