# Cloud FinOps Analyst, Cloud and IT

Position Overview SteerBridge is seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst to support the cloud and IT operations of our technology team and federal programs. This role will focus on bringing financial transparency and cost discipline to AWS, software, SaaS, and license spend by tracking, reporting, forecasting, and reducing cost across programs, and by applying FinOps practices that connect engineering, finance, and program leadership. This is a technical role, not a reporting-only position. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud billing and usage data and can query the data, build a dashboard, spot an idle or oversized resource, and explain the savings to both engineers and finance. Rather than adding findings to a backlog, the analyst builds automated discovery and reporting so the same waste is caught every month, and brings optimization opportunities to the cloud and IT teams with quantified savings and a clear implementation path. This is a hybrid position based in Vienna, VA.
