The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in design, construction management, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and ensure successful project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead project planning, including site studies, surveys, market analysis, cost estimating, scheduling, and cost control.\nParticipate in value engineering workshops and evaluate cost-effective design alternatives.\nConduct constructability and phasing reviews to ensure designs meet VA standards and minimize disruption to facility operations, utilities, safety, and access.\nMaintain daily activity logs, track schedules, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions with the Resident Engineer.\nFacilitate and document project meetings, support contractor payment processing, and help resolve construction issues.\nInspect work for nonconformance, manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and maintain as-built documentation.\nAssist with VA equipment coordination and relocation planning.\nOversee third-party testing and inspection of materials and systems, including soils, concrete, structural steel, fireproofing, roofing, and elevators.\nRequired Qualifications\n Eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship is required for this position under applicable federal contract requirements.
