This is an entry-level opportunity for someone early in their software engineering career to learn full-stack development practices and contribute to features under the guidance of senior engineers. This individual will support mission-critical claims analytics and operational software.\nKey Responsibilities\nWrite clean, well-documented code to support full-stack application and feature development.\n\nAssist with implementing and testing small, well-defined user interface (UI) and API features under the guidance of senior engineers.\n\nSupport senior engineers in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and technical issues.\n\nWrite and maintain unit tests and participate in peer code reviews to support software quality and build familiarity with team development practices.\n\nLearn and apply established coding standards, development tools, workflows, and documentation practices.\n\nDevelop familiarity with the team’s domain, codebase, and Modern Disability Claims (MDC) systems to effectively support ongoing development efforts.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nEligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship is required for this position under applicable federal contract requirements. Candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance also satisfies this requirement.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n0-4 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or a related field.\n\nFamiliarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and a modern front-end framework such as React.js, along with a basic understanding of Node.js and RESTful APIs.\n\nFamiliarity with Git, version-control workflows, and fundamental software development practices.\n\nStrong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively while receiving feedback and mentorship from senior team members.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCoursework, internship, or project experience involving full-stack software development.\n\nExposure to MERN or PERN stack technologies, including MongoDB, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines or containerization technologies such as Docker.\n\nFamiliarity with healthcare, claims, or other regulated data
