# DevOps Engineer

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client's core DevOps team. You'll help build and operate the AWS platform, with a particular focus on Python automation and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. You'll work closely with DevOps and development teams to improve delivery processes, reliability, security, and visibility across releases. Main responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain reusable GitLab CI/CD pipelines and components for testing, building, and deploying applications Develop and maintain Python automation that uses REST APIs to connect GitLab and Jira for data syncing, release notes, tracking, and issue workflows Review merge requests that change CI/CD definitions, keeping pipeline configurations reliable, reusable, and efficient Supervise and implement manual or gated production deployments, ensuring releases are visible, controlled, and auditable Contribute to code health, shift-left security practices, and software bill of materials (SBOM) generation through pipeline jobs Collaborate with team members and development teams in an Agile environment.
