Stellant’s industry leading EPCs & PPUs support space borne communications and ion thrusters, with over 4700 units in orbit and 290 million operating hours. Similar technology is also utilized for terrestrial applications, delivering RF communications, electronic warfare, and radar for critical commercial and military applications around the globe. This role will be primarily tasked with production support of PPUs, plus development of new circuit designs and providing EEE component guidance as needed. Responsibilities will also include providing guidance and leadership on a technical level to a multidisciplinary group of engineers including design, test, component, embedded and project engineers.\nResponsibilities\nHigh voltage power supply circuit design.\nTesting and troubleshooting of circuits / power supplies.\nGuide program management for technical issues and assure successful production.\nSupporting customer meetings, milestones (CDR, PDR, MRR …), guiding the team through those events.\nMentor, develop and train junior engineers.\nActively seek out innovative technologies and oversee new product development to ensure continued industry leadership.\nSupport new business activity through proposal review and improvements on current designs\nQualifications\nEngineering Degree in a related field, EE preferred, with post graduate work a plus.\nWork experience designing and/or testing electronic power conditioners or similar devices, with work in the space industry a massive plus. Minimal experience for various levels is defined below:Level II: requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience\nLevel III: requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience\nLevel IV: requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience\n\nUnderstanding and comfort with EE design aspects such circuit design, electric stress analysis, worst case analysis, single event upset and others.\nProficient with circuit design tools (Spice, Altium, and similar).\nCapable of reading top-level specifications and translating into electrical design needs.\nExperience supporting testing of electrical hardware preferred.\nHands-on engineering experience with PPUs or other high voltage products preferred.\nStrong problem-solving skills, utilizing industry-standard root cause corrective action (RCCA) methodologies.\nMust possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.\nProficiency using Microsoft Office applications is necessary.\nStellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
