The successful candidate will interface with all levels of Stellant personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides.\nThe position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. The FSO must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information.\nQualifications\nSelf-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated\nCommitment to security - creating and delivering the highest value to customers\nBe able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations\nProvide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate\nThorough working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards\nStrong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas \nThorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, eQIP, and NISS\nAdminister day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.\nExperience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate\nAbility to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program\nMinimum 2 years of experience in Industrial Security\nStrong communications skills, both oral and written\nFSO certification with minimum 2 years of experience as an FSO preferred\nActive Secret security clearance\nDesired Skills\nCourier preparation procedures\nExperience developing and implanting OPSEC plans\nKnowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems\nExperience with DoD construction\nExperience conducting investigations\nResourceful in solving problem and capitalizing on opportunities\nProfessional Certifications/Affiliations\nDCSA Required:\nIS030.CU FSO Management for Possessing Facilities\n14 course curriculum that provides the information needed to prepare the new FSO for the duties as responsibilities of an FSO in a possessing facility.
