We are a leading service and expertise provider for high-tech commercial ventures, spanning communications, earth observation and remote sensing systems and data products, to the infrastructures that support earth orbiting and beyond earth orbit businesses.\nRole/Responsibilities/Qualifications\nStellar Solutions has an opportunity for an Acquisition Support Specialist to support the US Space Force (USSF) in developing and deploying warfighter capabilities within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, California.\nThis team provides systems acquisition and program management support on various capability development programs that are intended to protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of the advising and assisting the Government throughout the full lifecycle of systems acquisition processes that enable in most instances, rapid fielding to meet warfighter needs.\nIn this position you will:\nProvide expert advice to the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution and draft the necessary documentation (ESIS, ASP, ASD, J&A, Source Selection Strategy, etc.)\nProvide Acquisition assistance to technical personnel involved in development of statement of work or data deliverable requirements for variety of pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions (e.g., SOW, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.)\nAssist with contract negotiation, price reasonableness determination, administration, and termination procedures\nAssist the contracting office in preparing contract modifications and supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extensions, and admin modifications\nDevelop and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02, and relevant DoD, AF, and Space Systems Command policies\nDraft technical evaluations and function as an advisor in source selections\nProvide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor designs and milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements\nMonitor & evaluate contractor performance for compliance with contract terms/conditions & ensures timely submission of contract deliverables\nRequired Skills and Education:\nBachelors degree and minimum of 14 years of related experience (4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of degree) with:Contracting regulations and procurement procedures\nDepartment of Defense Major Capability Acquisition System process\nJoint Capabilities Integration and Development System process\n\nPlanning, Programing, Budget and Execution process\nMust have an in-scope security background investigation (TS or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable)\nMust be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination\nDesired Qualifications:\nProfessional certification (e.g., PMI PMP)\nExperience within the National Security Space domain\nExperience working in development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program office\nSecurity Clearance & Other Requirements:\nMust have an in-scope security background investigation (TS or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable)\nMust be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination\nThis position is full-time, on site in El Segundo, CA \nCompensation:\nThe typical salary range for this position is USD $125,000 - $165,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.\nIn addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive total rewards package that includes an annual performance bonus, an employer-funded Profit-Sharing Plan (PSP) contribution based on base compensation, and comprehensive employer-paid medical benefits, PTO pay-out options, along with additional company-sponsored benefits.
