We have a passionate management team and committed investors who believe in our patented technology and overall mission to profoundly advance biomedical research and accelerate the discovery of life-saving treatments.\nRole Description\nThe Sr. SQA Engineer will join the software team and play a hands on role testing and validating software for our Pyxa™ Instrument, analytical software and panel / probe design software.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for thick client C# applications, web applications, cloud applications and Bioinformatics pipelines.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on software that interfaces with hardware systems.\nIdentify, document, and track software defects using Azure DevOps.\nCollaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, systems engineers and Bioinformatics, along with other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.\nAutomate test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.\nParticipate in Pull Request reviews and provide feedback / testing to ensure adherence to quality standards.\nParticipate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics or a related field.\n6-8 years, proven experience as an SQA Engineer, preferably with genomics pipelines, cloud applications and data visualization applications.\nStrong proficiency in Windows, Linux and cloud environments (Azure preferred).\nExperience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, NUnit, SpecFlow).\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nExperience using Visual Studio to pull, build and test software.\nWorking knowledge of Python, NumPy, SciPy, PyTorch.\nExperience working at a lab bench and able to pipette samples.\nExperience working in Biotechnology or other high throughput imaging-based field.\n\nWhy Join Stellaromics?\nOpportunity to work with a passionate and innovative team in a growing company. \nCompetitive salary and benefits package. \nProfessional development and career growth opportunities. \nCollaborative and dynamic work environment. \nCompensation\nAn attractive compensation and benefits package based on market pay data will be commensurate with candidate skills, qualifications, and experience.\nIf you are interested in becoming part of a growing team energized by limitless possibilities, please submit your resume for consideration.
