Together we develop and maintain the Stena Metall Data Platform, an Azure-based analytical workspace where we ingest, process and analyse data, train machine learning models and serve insights to the companies within the Stena Metall Group.\nOur work ranges from BI and reporting to advanced analytics. We're actively exploring how AI, including agentic AI, can transform the way we work, both in our development practice and in the solutions we build.\nUsing your potential, you will:\nDesign, build, maintain and optimise data pipelines (ETL/ELT) from a wide range of sources\nContribute to data architecture, data modelling and database management on the data platform\nIntegrate the data platform with other systems across the group\nEnsure scalability, performance, monitoring and troubleshooting of the platform\nWork closely with data scientists, analysts and BI developers to prepare data for different use cases\nTranslate business and IT requirements into the right technical solutions\nContribute with best practices, architecture and hands-on development\nKeep learning new technologies and tools, including AI, to improve your skills and your work\nIt starts with you!\nAs a Data Engineer you have:\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent, and at least three years of experience as a data engineer, backend developer or similar role\nExperience building data products\nExperience building data pipelines using cloud technologies, preferably Azure\nStrong understanding of how the components of a modern data platform work together\nUsed to working in agile, prototype-driven development\nIn addition, you are:\nCurious, a quick learner and have a structured and analytical mindset\nA teamwork and know how to involve the right people to move things forward\nFluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written\nIf you have experience with machine learning workflows or MLOps is a plus.\nSome of the technologies we use\nAzure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric\nAzure Analysis Server - Tabular cubes\nAzure Data Lake\nAzure DevOps\nPython, SQL, Spark\nQlik Cloud\nTerraform\nGitHub Copilot\nOur offer\nWorking for Stena Metall, you will join us in creating a better future.
