Someone who has a strong visual point of view, is capable of simplifying complexity, and who loves generating ideas with a cross-functional team.\nThis is a hybrid role based out of our New York City headquarters, with 3 days per week required in the office.\nAs Senior Product Designer, you'll design end-to-end experiences and support a range of product initiatives which directly impact how our customers understand and use Stensul's growing suite of products. As a member of the Product Design team, you'll work closely with product managers, product designers, engineers, and stakeholders to support the ongoing design needs of our organization.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn end-to-end design for the Stensul platform, from early concepts and user flows to polished, production-ready UX solutions, holding a high bar for quality at every stage.\n\nShape product strategy by identifying opportunities, proposing creative solutions, and building a clear point of view backed by customer insights, data, and industry trends.\n\nPlan and conduct user interviews and usability tests, synthesize what you learn, and iterate quickly, making sure designs are grounded in how real users and agentic systems actually work.\n\nCreate flows, functional prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that communicate clearly and keep the team moving toward solutions.\n\nWork openly and partner closely with product managers and engineers throughout the design process, not just at handoff, to ensure quality UX solutions find their way into production.\n\nContribute to the Stensul design system and advocate for its adoption to ensure product experiences are consistent, scalable, and accessible.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nCross-functional teammates are better equipped to build empathy with customers because of how you approach and share your design work.\n\nThe design function at Stensul is more rigorous, visible, and connected to business outcomes than when you arrived.\n\nYou've elevated the bar on what \"quality\" design looks like in an AI-first environment and made it easier for the entire team to contribute and meet that standard.\n\nYou share work in progress, invite feedback, and make design accessible and understandable to everyone outside the craft.\n\nYou mentor teammates on design principles and help elevate how the team thinks about solving complex customer problems.\n\nWhat You'll Need\n6+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that shows strong visual craft, sound interaction design, and real business impact in B2B SaaS products.\n\nExperience using AI tools like Claude to support design workflows (e.g., generating artifacts, prototyping), with strong judgment on where AI adds value and where human craft remains essential.\n\nComfortable working across the full design stack: UI design, interaction design, UX problem solving, information architecture, research, and design strategy.\n\nExperience conducting usability tests and customer research and using those insights to make concrete improvements to your design solutions.\n\nStrong communication skills and ability to articulate a clear rationale about why a design decision was made and tailor that story appropriately to an engineer, a PM, or an executive stakeholder.\n\nStrong storytelling skills and ability to create compelling narratives about the needs of our customers.\n\nFamiliarity designing and contributing to a design system, knowing when to work within existing constraints and when to advocate for change.\n\nA track record of collaborating cross-functionally and bringing your partners into alignment to keep up team momentum.\n\nWhy You'll Love Working Here!\nCompetitive compensation package that includes equity - everyone has a stake in our growth\n\nComprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, as well as a 401(k), life insurance, commuter benefits and parental leave plans\n\nQuarterly wellness stipend....\n\nFlexible time off policy, empowering you to balance work & life in the way that suits you best\n\nA culture that prioritizes collaboration and transparency, as well as internal mobility and growth!\n\nThis is a hybrid role based out of our New York City headquarters, with 3 days per week required in the office.\nSalary information: The estimated base salary for this position is 175,000-190,000 USD.
