We expect every team member to bring these principles to life in their daily work.\nThe Data Business Analyst has experience in data analysis, warehousing, and reporting. The analyst is responsible for gathering, identifying, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements as it relates to the organizational needs for data management. The analyst is as a liaison between the business units and business intelligence developers to understand, analyze and document requirements for business intelligence solutions including reports, visualizations, data warehouse and the multi-dimensional cube. The analyst will also test and validate the solutions to ensure quality and customer expectations are met. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding core business needs and able to propose effective data solutions to solve everyday business challenges.\nLocation: Remote (United States)Key Responsibilities:\nDevelops and maintains knowledge of the business needs as it relates to data.\n\nElicits and documents requirements from stakeholders for reports, dashboards, metrices, and KPIs.\n\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements and technical solutions.\n\nPerforms data analysis, data mapping, process flow analysis and design, assists with data and report testing and issue identification.\n\nTests enhancements and fixes to ensure they meet the requirements or corrected issues.\n\nAssures integrity between data warehouse, data lake, and other systems as business rules change.\n\nValidates accuracy of transactions between integrated systems.\n\nCreates source to data warehouse mapping specifications, data models, and data flow diagrams for use by data development resources.\n\nBuilds user stories with acceptance criteria for team backlog refinement and prioritization.\n\nParticipates in Agile and SCRUM methodologies that are utilized by the organization to bring projects to fruition.\n\nReviews user stories in backlog refinement meetings to ensure alignment and clear understanding by the Scrum team.\n\nParticipates in the development and implementation of reporting that improves efficiency and enhances productivity.\n\nDevelops and manages effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced.\n\nMeets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrates respect for others.\n\nConstantly examines, develops, maintains, and updates team’s supporting documentation, standards, and guidelines.
