Stepful’s programs are designed to support students at every step of the way, from getting certified by the CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) to finding high-quality healthcare jobs.\nThis is a 1099 contract role that requires in-person instruction, so candidates are ideally local to the program site (St. Louis, MO) or willing to travel for the duration of the course. Travel and lodging support is available for instructors who are not local to the program site.\nWhat you’ll do:\nTeach hands-on skills to students in an in-person lab setting\n\nDemonstrate proper technique for a given skill and provide live step by step tasks for students to perform\n\nAssess students’ lab and clinical competency for skills and provide feedback\n\nReview and evaluate the required skills students must demonstrate\n\nCommunicate regularly with students over email and other communication tools\n\nJoin weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful\n\nProvide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and prepare and plan for future modules, as needed\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\n3+ years of experience teaching sterile processing, with knowledge of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising\n\n3+ years of experience working as a certified Sterile Processing Technician at a clinical setting\n\nSterile Processing Tech Certification\n\nExperience with digital tools for teaching and reading lesson plans\n\nExperience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities\n\nStellar writing and communication skills\n\nAbility to work 30 - 40 hours per week\n\nInterview Process:\nIntro Call with Talent Team\n\nCase Study Assignment\n\nFinal Interview\n\nThe hourly pay rate for this opportunity is $40.00/hour.
