This role helps ensure products, processes, and services meet internal standards as well as customer and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain and update quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, forms, and training materials.\nSupport internal audits by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and assisting auditors.\nMonitor nonconforming material reports (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPAs), and follow-up activities to ensure timely closure.\nCoordinate supplier quality issues and work with the procurement team to gather data or documentation as needed.\nAssist in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions.\nTrack quality metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports for leadership.\nSupport training initiatives related to quality processes and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with ISO standards or other industry-specific quality requirements.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.\nServe as a liaison between production, engineering, operations, and quality leadership.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAssociate degree or equivalent relevant experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.\n1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or related areas.\nISO 9001: 2015 expertise\nInternal auditing skills- planning, conducting reporting and following up on audits; familiarity with audit checklists and sampling.\nDocument control & compliance: Managing procedures, work instructions, records, and revision control.\n Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA): Root cause analysis, 8D, and effectiveness verification.\nCommunication & diplomacy: Ability to interview auditees, explain findings, and influence without authority.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nTravel-Able to travel to other Midwest locations 4 times a year.\nMust be able to work out of the Whitestown, IN facility Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm when not traveling.\nNice to have but not required:\n-ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification (Lead Auditor is a strong plus for supplier audits).\nFamiliarity with risk assessment tools (FMEA, SWOT) and process KPIs.\n-PPAP experience: Ability to review and support Production Part Approval Process documentation and submissions\n-Food/bev: GMP, HACCP\n-Medical: ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820.\nTHIS POSITION DESCRIPTION IN NO WAY STATES OR IMPLIES THAT THESE ARE THE ONLY DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED BY THE EMPLOYEE(S) INCUMBENT IN THIS POSITION.
