The role supervises and develops accounting staff, performs detailed reviews of deliverables, strengthens processes and controls, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to support accurate and timely reporting.\nEssential Job Functions:\nThe position requires a positive, detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented individual. Specific duties include:\nManage the monthly financial statement close and related accounting activities for subsidiary entities\nAssist with cash management, review monthly financial statements, journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations\nOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and related documentation and follow-up processes\nReview long-term investment entries, capital call wires, and reconciliations to capital account balances\nAssist with quarterly reviews and the annual audit process for subsidiary entities, including coordination of supporting documentation and responses\nEnsure subsidiary entities comply with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable reporting requirements\nMaintain local statutory books and timely filings with regulators, coordinating with local service providers as needed\nPartner with the U.S. accounting team and other subsidiaries to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and intercompany matters are resolved timely\nSupervise and develop accounting staff; establish clear priorities and review standards\nIdentify and implement process improvements, including opportunities to leverage technology and strengthen controls\nSupport ad hoc analyses, special projects, and other duties as needed\nEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred\nAt least five years of progressive professional accounting experience, including experience reviewing work and leading accounting processes\nPrior supervisory or people-management experience preferred\nPrior public accounting experience preferred (Big 4 or Large Regional)\nStrong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting concepts\nExperience with international entities, statutory reporting and/or foreign currency translation a plus\nFamiliarity with investment partnership accounting and/or reporting a plus\nHighly proficient in using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications\nNetSuite general ledger experience a plus\nSalary Range: $115,000 - $120,000\nThe salary range is an estimate of pay for this position. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.
