Operations wherever needed.\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintains positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers\nProvides constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal (STEVENS TRANSPORT) and external (Customer)\nPerforms load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both AS400\nCoordinates daily data entry into STEVENS TRANSPORT’s TMS platform\nCoordinates with home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices\nEnsures accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks\nProvides weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties\nCoordinates daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance.\nWorks with safety department on Netradyne, driver compliance and HOS issues\nAssists Director of Dedicated Operations with implementing STEVENS TRANSPORT’s Safety, Security and Labor policies\nAssists and provides coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary\nAssists with driver payroll\nAudits and approves driver expense reports\nProvides assistance to wherever needed\nRegular and ad-hoc reporting (P&L, revenue share, load counts, etc.) \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum 2-3 years’ experience in logistics and/or transportation\nComputer applications experience including MS Office\nExcellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision-making skills\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nAbility to work efficiently and multitask\nAbility and availability to work extended hours if necessary\nDemonstrated knowledge of applicable federal/state regulations and DOT regulations\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel reporting functions\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with transportation of temperature-controlled product\nHighly organized and communicative, especially in the development of actions plans and to ensure accountability and follow-through\nAbility to perform in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities\nSome knowledge of the AS400 operating system
