through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods to assess their interest and qualifications\n\nProvideinformation, build rapportand influence potential drivers to drive for Stevens Transport Inc\n\nIdentifypotential CDL drivers through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and referrals.\n\nActively engage with potential candidates to generate interest in our company and job openings.\n\nApplication Processing:\nReview DOT, State, Local and Company requirementsto assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and compliance with CDL requirements.\n\nCollect and review CDL driver applications to ensure they are complete and meet our minimum qualifications.\n\nVerify the accuracy of information provided in applications, including driving records and employment history.\n\nCommunicate with applicants to request additionalinformation or clarification when necessary.\n\nPre-Screening:\nConduct initial pre-screening interviews with CDL driver applicants to assess their qualifications and suitability for the position.\n\nEvaluate candidates' DOT, criminaland employment records to ensure theymeet the company's hiring criteria and regulatory requirements.\n\nMaintain accuraterecords of candidate documentation and information.\n\nDatabase Management:\nMaintain an organized and up-to-date database of CDL driver applicants and their application status.\n\nTrack and report key recruitment metrics to management regularly.\n\nAdminister relevant tests or assessments to evaluate candidates' abilities.\n\nUtilize recruitment software and databases to manage candidate data efficiently\n\nGenerating regular and ad-hoc reports as needed by management\n\nCollaboration:\nCollaborate with CDL Driver Recruitersto identifythe most suitable candidates for available CDL driver positions.\n\nProvidesupport during the interview and selection process as needed.\n\nCompliance:\nEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements, including DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies\n\nScheduling and confirming interviews with Driver Recruiters\n\nContinuous Improvement:\nGenerate and maintainaccuraterecruitment-related reports, including metrics on candidate sourcing, interviews, and hiringContinuouslyseek ways to improve the application processing and lead generation process.\n\nStay updated on industry trends and best practices in CDL driver recruitment.\n\nRelationship Building:\nDevelop and maintainpositive relationships with current and potential CDL drivers to build a strong talent network.\n\nEnsuring constant communication with applicants throughout the beginning stages of the recruiting life cycle.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nProficiencyin using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and related tools.\n\nStrong computer and typing skills in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Excel, and Word\n\nAbility to handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and email.\n\nAbility to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines.\n\nDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a teamwhile taking initiative.\n\nCapable of thriving as a team player but also driven by autonomy\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred\n\nStrong knowledge of CDL requirements, FMCSA regulations, and industry standards\n\nProficiencyin using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and related tools.\n\nPreviousexperience in recruitment, particularly in CDL driver recruitment or a related role within the transportation or logisticsindustry\n\nExceptional organizational and time-management abilities.\n\nA commitment to safety and compliance.\n\nAttention to detail and the ability to maintainaccuratecandidate documentation\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.\n\nExceptional
