You will play a key role in showcasing our estate’s farm-to-fork cuisine and Louma wines, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable experience. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, you will act as an ambassador for our brand.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Service\nGreet and seat guests, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages according to Louma’s high standards.\n\nThoroughly understand and describe menu items, ingredients, allergens, and Louma wines to guests.\n\nUpsell menu items, drinks, wines, and experiences in a genuine and guest-focused manner.\n\nAccurately process payments via the POS system, following all financial procedures.\n\nSupport service for events, private dining, breakfast, and in-room dining as scheduled.\n\n2. Standards & Set-up\nSet up, maintain, and clear service areas, stations, and bars before, during, and after service.\n\nMaintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all guest areas.\n\nFollow SOPs for service, cleaning, and stock management; report low stock or maintenance issues.\n\nMaintain clear and timely communication with the kitchen regarding orders, timings, and special requests.\n\n3. Guest Experience\nAnticipate guest needs and consistently go the extra mile to enhance their experience.\n\nHandle guest feedback in a professional manner, and promptly escalate complaints to management.\n\n4. Licensing, Food Safety & Health & Safety\nServe alcohol responsibly and verify age in line with licensing regulations.\n\nStrictly adhere to food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols.\n\nTake responsibility as a Competent Person in line with Health & Safety Policy, following all SOPs and risk assessments.\n\nBe familiar with and follow all fire, evacuation, and emergency procedures.\n\n5. Training & Qualifications\nEssential: Level 2 Food Safety (or willingness to complete); allergen awareness training.\n\nDesirable: WSET Level 1 or 2; barista experience; POS handling; First Aid at Work.\n\nPrevious food and beverage experience is advantageous; full training will be provided.\n\n6.
