You will work collaboratively with the housekeeping team, embodying our company culture through reliable service, attention to detail, and respectful teamwork. As a representative of Louma Farm and Retreat, your professional appearance, conduct, and guest interactions are essential to creating a welcoming and well-presented retreat experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nHousekeeping Duties\nThoroughly clean, sanitise, organise, and tidy accommodation rooms, internal public areas (e.g., toilets, hallways, sitting areas), and external public areas (e.g., paved areas, terraces) following agreed procedures and standards.\n\nProactively seek ways to maintain and improve standards, sharing suggestions with your Line Manager.\n\nPrepare hospitality areas and accommodation rooms per layout plans, guest requirements, and housekeeping procedures.\n\nReplenish supplies for guests and team members, maintaining standards and promptly reporting shortages.\n\nCheck and report on housekeeping equipment, supplies, and resource levels daily.\n\nFollow schedules, rotas, and task lists to ensure timely and professional completion of all duties.\n\nRecord cleaning, sanitising, and room setup duties as required; escalate any barriers to completion.\n\nComplete all mandatory training and consistently apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health & Safety policies.\n\nEnsure all necessary signage, barriers/screens, equipment, and support measures are in place and adhered to for efficient and safe operations.\n\nCoordinate with approved suppliers for linen, laundry, chemicals, refuse collection, and specialist services.\n\nEnsure correct use and control of chemicals, materials, and methods as per procedures; maintain up-to-date COSHH and MSDS knowledge and compliance.\n\nOrganise collection and disposal of linen, rubbish, and waste; coordinate timely, concealed transfer to designated collection points.\n\nLiaise with approved third parties for scheduled waste and refuse collection in line with company policies.\n\nMaintain high standards for handling and issuing clean and ironed linen, conducting quality checks on materials and services.\n\nProvide support to other departments with movement of items and area setups as required.\n\nMaintain accurate records for quality control purposes.\n\nOther Requirements\nTake responsibility as a Competent Person in implementing the company’s Health & Safety Policy, strictly following all procedures and risk assessments.\n\nPromptly report any issues related to the building, site, facilities, or services to the Line Manager.\n\nUndertake other reasonable duties as requested by management.\n\nAlways present yourself in a cheerful, polite, and professional manner, wearing a clean, appropriate uniform.\n\nUphold high standards of personal hygiene.\n\nBe flexible and available for weekend, evening, and occasional external outdoor work.\n\nDemonstrate focus, enthusiasm, proactive initiative, teamwork, and respect in all interactions.\n\nRepresent the ethos of Louma Farm and Retreat in appearance, behaviour, and interactions
