The intern will work alongside experienced team members and gain exposure to program management, advisor support, business operations, analytics, compliance considerations, and emerging technology. This role offers hands-on assignments, job shadowing, program rotations, and a summer-long group project. The intern will assist with research, reporting, process improvement, and special initiatives while developing a broader understanding of the financial services industry.\nWhat We're Looking For\nAssist with research, reporting, quality reviews, and special projects that help enhance Advisory programs and services. \nReview business and program data, identify trends, and help translate findings into meaningful insights for the team and leadership. \nParticipate in job shadowing, program rotations, and learning opportunities across multiple Advisory teams. \nExplore how technology, including Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools, can improve efficiency, communication, and data analysis. \nCollaborate with fellow interns on a summer-long project and present recommendations to Advisory leadership. \nWhat You'll Bring\nCuriosity about finance, investing, wealth management, business operations, data analytics, or related fields. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in understanding what data can tell us. \nClear written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to stay organized, manage multiple assignments, and collaborate with teammates. \nA positive, proactive mindset and willingness to learn, ask questions, receive feedback, and share ideas. \nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or another related field. \nPreferred: Completion of at least one year of college coursework. \nSystems & Technology\nComfort using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for school, work, or projects. \nInterest in learning Microsoft Copilot, Thomson One, BETA, reporting tools, and other wealth management applications. \nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
