Annuity Solution Specialists II are product experts for branch personnel with product-specific questions and technical, sales, and/or marketing matters. This role demonstrates a strong knowledge of how annuities can be integrated into a financial plan through income and estate planning processes. Annuity Solutions Specialists II develop and deliver internal training for Financial Advisors and their associates that promote the discussion of annuities in the context of a complete financial plan. This role creates internal marketing campaigns and authors social media/Firm newsletter content to promote annuity concepts.\nWhat We're Looking For\nDevelops and delivers internal training presentations and educational materials to promote the discussion of annuities as part of a complete financial plan.\nCreates internal marketing campaigns to develop product awareness and increase sales penetration of annuity products using email and Stifel's intranet (Portal)\nSupports Financial Advisors and their associates with any questions about annuities via the telephone and email.\nAssists Financial Advisors in annuity reviews and case design while acting as a liaison between vendors and Financial Advisors (FA).\nCreates content for social media and Firm newsletters.\nReviews new products/product changes and communicates them to Financial Advisors and their associates.\nPerforms due diligence on new and existing annuity vendors.\nActs as a back-up to Senior Specialist for training, Closer Look, and recruits.\nWhat You'll Bring\nSolid knowledge of marketing principles. This includes marketing strategy and outcome measurement.\nWorking knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and gain interest via written, oral, and visual media.\nGeneral knowledge of compliance issues surrounding annuity products.\nEducation & Experience\nMinimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a business-related field.\nMinimum Required: 3+ years of industry-related experience.\nLicenses & Credentials\nMinimum Required: FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 within six months of hire.\nMinimum Required: State Resident Life and Health Insurance License, State LTC designation.\nSystems & Technology\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.\nExperience with WebEx webinar software.\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
