They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud-based applications and systems' availability, scalability, and security. This role involves troubleshooting and optimizing cloud environments while staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing.\nWhat We're Looking For\nDeploy and manage cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, databases) using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nMonitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of cloud services.\nCollaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based applications.\nImplement automation and orchestration to streamline cloud provisioning and management processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.\nStay up-to-date with industry trends and certifications in cloud technologies.\nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.\nProficiency in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\nKnowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nGood communication and teamwork abilities.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n0-2 years of experience in IT or cloud-related roles.\nHands-on experience with cloud services and deployments.\nLicenses & Credentials\nMinimum Required: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer).\nSystems & Technology\nProficiency in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\nKnowledge of infrastructure as code (IAC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nScripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).\nAbout Stifel\nStifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
